We are creating a new foundation for Kokua - being of assistance to others - a Web Site will be created to address the needs of people in everyday life.  People who need a bed or a winter coat or a way to buy medication. People who have schizophrenia and live in caves or sleep in the laundry mat because they have no capacity to manage without help. Parents who feed their children at the Salvation Army and eat macaroni and cheese for dinner because they are trying to survive on $300.00 per month.  These individuals/families exist in the very communities where you live.  Your willingness to participate in helping others will make a difference in someone's life.  For many, having "it all" is understood - and not everyone has that opportunity. Compassion and kindness for others will move the world towards peace and understanding.  We thank you for your Kokua.
